
Taco night is a favorite in many households, but sometimes those store-bought seasoning packets just don’t cut it. Whether it’s the artificial additives, excess sodium, or simply the desire to make your meals more personal, making your own taco seasoning is the perfect solution. This easy homemade taco seasoning not only saves you money, but it also allows you to control the flavor profile to suit your personal taste. Plus, it’s super quick to whip up with ingredients you probably already have in your pantry!
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons chili powder
4 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons sea salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon oregano
*for extra spice add 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
Instructions:
Stir all ingredients together, pour into an airtight container & seal. (I use a little mason jar)
3 Tablespoons = 1 packet of taco seasoning
